Sans-serif capitals incised into stone, with narrow, tall proportions and uniform stroke weight; the E has a shortened middle bar, the Z a slanted diagonal. The inscription sits beneath a root relief worked in raised form on a light grey, finely bush-hammered stone surface, stone-coloured without paint, slightly soiled with run marks, otherwise well preserved.
