Hand-painted capitals in an Art Deco sans serif with contrasting stroke weights: broad main strokes next to fine hairlines, narrow, tall proportions and perfectly round O and G. Dark brown lettering on a yellow ground between two narrow decorative rules, framed by a brown border; the ground is stained and dirty, the border chipped and one corner damaged.
