Chiselled lowercase letters of a roman typeface with pronounced serifs, moderate stroke contrast and round, open forms, cut into a polished dark granite slab. The roughened grey inner surface of the letters is covered in places with yellowish-orange patches, presumably lichen, and dirt, but the lettering remains easily legible.
