Flat grave slab of grey speckled granite, its inscription standing out in relief within recessed, sandblasted rectangular panels. The lines are set in a decorative blackletter display face with heavy strokes; the family name appears in broad, ornamental capitals. The panels are discoloured brownish, and individual characters, especially in the top line and in the years, are worn and hard to read.
