Deeply engraved lowercase letters in polished black granite, in a calligraphic-looking roman typeface with strong stroke contrast, pointed wedge-shaped serifs and a curving, double-storey g with a swung ear. The light grey sandblasted letter surfaces show remnants of gold infill; the inscription is well preserved, with a small light scratch next to the s.
